Sarah Doyle
I’m Sarah — better known these days as The Confidence Coach, a title that stuck after IMAGE Magazine handed it to me, and honestly? It fits.
Confidence is my thing.
For over a decade, I’ve coached ambitious, high-performing women to quiet the inner critic, break the cycle of overthinking, and finally feel as confident as they look.
But here’s why my clients really choose to work with me:
I’m not your typical executive coach. No jargon. No corporate waffle. No “circle back on that offline”. Just straight-talking, evidence-based coaching wrapped in humour, warmth, and the occasional story about tripping over my own ambition… and sometimes my own feet.
When your confidence is barely hanging on, you don’t need another lecture. You need someone who gets it, tells the truth kindly, makes you laugh when you want to cry, and gives you tools that actually work.
And that’s what I do.
I’ve Been Where You Are
Before coaching, I was a project manager at a big Irish university. Promotions came quickly, but so did the anxiety. The pressure. The fear of being “found out”. On the outside, I was capable. On the inside, my inner critic was running the show.
If that sounds familiar, trust me, you’re not the only one.
Working with my own coach changed everything. I finally saw what was possible when I stopped believing the voice that told me I wasn’t enough. That clarity didn’t just shift my career — it changed my life.
And it’s why I do this work today.
When your confidence is barely hanging on, you don’t need another lecture. You need someone who gets it, tells the truth kindly, makes you laugh when you want to cry, and gives you tools that actually work.
And that’s what I do.
Building (and Rebuilding) Myself
For almost ten years, I ran a coaching business called The Better Life Project. It helped thousands of people create meaningful change. But as my life evolved — two kids, new priorities, new perspectives — I realised I had outgrown the identity that built it.
Leaving it behind wasn’t easy. But staying attached to a version of myself that no longer existed?
Impossible.
So I reset, rebranded, and reclaimed who I was becoming — a woman, a mother, and yes, a coach with a slightly less reliable pelvic floor. With that came a familiar wave of imposter syndrome, overthinking, and inner critic spirals.
But here’s the difference now:
I know how to work with that voice.
I know how to turn doubt into data, fear into fuel, and “who do you think you are?” into “watch me”.
That’s the work I teach. And I live it every single day.
The Personal Stuff
I’m married to James, mum to Billy and Daisy, and a big believer that motherhood is both the greatest gift and the greatest workout for your nervous system. I love my career. It’s a core part of who I am. And like you, I juggle the beautiful chaos of ambition, family, and the occasional existential crisis.
I still have moments of doubt. But doubt doesn’t drive me anymore — I do.
And I’ll teach you how to do the same.
